Last Saturday … on the 17 October … was the World Toy Camera Day. Despite being really busy that day, I managed to squeeze out two rolls on my toy cams and got one of them developed today. The other roll is supposed to be for a doubles collaboration with a friend.
It did took me a while to decide which camera to use that day because I wanted something compact so that I can squeeze it in my pocket while going around doing my chores. The POP9 cam ended up being picked because I’ve yet to even use it once since I received it as a prize not long ago. The other good thing about this cam is that it has a built-in flash, so I don’t have to always run outside in the sun to take photos.
I loaded a roll of long expired Konica Chrome Centuria 200 slides and got it cross-processed. If I remember correctly, I’ve used this film once before but I’ve not been able to get any decent results from this film cross-processed. They usually turn out very grainy and the colors seem to suck. Is it me or is this film not really suitable for cross-processing? Anyone has any experience with it?
You must be wondering why this image below is appearing in this POP9 set. Hahaha. I was scanning the roll of film when I saw this end of a strip (of film) that looks really cool. Look at it … does it look like there is a praying mantis in there? Huh? Don’t tell me that I am losing my mind.
hahaha!!
@mijonju : Does one of the image above look very very familiar to you? 😀
u ok? wat’s with the last pic.. lol
@ymmij : No, I am not that okay. I need a good rest and lots of beer. When are we going for beer outing? 😀

@irorus : Thanks. You are in luck! Hahaha. Since you said that you love this film, let me go dig my fridge this weekend. I think I have some left (just maybe) … and if I can find any … I’ll let you have them. 😀 Stay tuned!
