Couldn’t think of an appropriate title … so I used a very lame one. Yeah. 3 FPS. Not 3 frames per second … but 3 frames per scan. Hahaha! I forced myself to scan this roll from my Pen EE2 and since it was already midnight when I started … I took a shortcut and scanned 3 (of the half frame frames … ermm … is that what you call it?) photos into 1. I haven’t figured out if my scanning software can do batch scans and was desperate to finish scanning these before I go grab some sleep.
The roll has been in the camera for quite a while already and that’s why you will find the random photos are from all over the place. Shopping for durians with Fitzand at the market, fun time slacking at Vivocity, playing at the park and (gulp!) on the way to work. Looking at these … I suddenly wonder if I should try doing a ‘3 photo per hour’ kind of project where I shoot whatever I did for the day … with 3 photos in every hour. Hmm. Perhaps I should do that on a weekend or else there’ll be one too many photos of me behind my office desk. Hmm … anyone game for such a project?
While I’m posting this, I have a video being uploaded and I should be able to update my blog again tomorrow morning. It will not be just any normal blog entry … but something pretty serious which will affect my life in the near future. Stay tuned!
I don’t mind trying the 3-photos-an-hour project. Hehehe… Helps take my mind off my Honours project… Need to start shooting more as well as I’ve gotten a few cameras here to play (thanks to you and mijonju for the poisoning…) =P
@kaxdd : Let me go think about it and post some details up hopefully this weekend … then see how many wanna join us in this ‘thrilling’ project. Hahaha! It’s good to see what everyone’s up to … every hour … in just one day.
If shooting with half-frame and 3 frames per hour…..it is going to be 72 exp divide by 3 frames = 24 HOURS!!!!! OMG…next day report sick…..
@Jer : It doesn’t have to be half frame. Even digital will do. I’m thinking of doing this as a fun ‘one day only’ project and the bottomline … the participants have fun shooting and later we combine the photos in galleries by day. 😀 No serious things involved. 😀
Yupz, agreed! I’m thinking of using my Minimo for this since I have to be discreet in the lab when shooting… Weekends can be more creative for me since I can use my Natura Classica White that I got from mijonju earlier this week. Definitely looking forward to the project once you provide more details! =)

I don’t mind doing half frames, but I need to stock up some films. Hahaha~~ If it is going to be a 24-hour project, it might be a problem due to low light situation at night… Especially if I am using 100 or 400 films…
@kaxdd : Yeah I thought of that too. If we were to shoot 3 photos per hour … for a 36exp roll will need 12 hours to shoot. This means we will need some camera with flash or use fast film and make sure shoot under shade in the day. Hahaha! Challenging? 😀
Hahaha.. Need to go grab some 800 films soon… Films are expensive in Melbourne… =(
Maybe pick a cam with long exposure…..Or multiple exposure???
Multiple exposures —> 3 exp per hour —> 36hours to complete —> O_O!!! More hardcore than 1/2 frame….haha

@Jer : Started? Hahaha! Not yet. We are suppose to agree on a date, then everyone shoot on that day. Only that way will we get to put together and see what each of us were doing/seeing on that same hour on that same day. I’ve gotta go think and post the challenge up soon.

thats the first film i ever remember…. cause queen poison me….. but then the color i get not so yellow thou….
