Thank God for the few pints of beer this evening, I decided not to kill myself by swallowing 10 rolls of film. Guess what I did!! I loaded a roll of Lomo slide film (ISO100) into my LC-A+ and forgot that the ISO setting on the camera was still at ISO200! Damn! Luckily it was a pretty bright morning and some of the shots survived. Many were under exposed!
Took some snapshots at a job site where my brother-in-law’s company was having their hungry ghost festival prayers this morning. I actually was thinking of taking some shots of the offerings and such, but decided against it.
Why? Oh well, since us Chinese pray and make offerings (food, drinks and others) to the hungry ghosts during this month, it means that the many invisible friends are around having a feast with those food and drinks. And by taking photos of the entire session will mean I am taking photos (though I might not be able to see them) of them eating!
That is just not right! I #*(@!*(&# hate rude people staring at my food in food court (public eating places here in Singapore where there are many free seating tables around) and I don’t wanna be one of them! Sounds crazy I know but that’s just me. Oh yeah, I repeat … I hate stupid rude people who walk past others who are eating, stopping to see their food. I’m gonna send some bloody fork and spoon into their eyeballs someday!
Argh! I got carried away! Ok, back to the photos. It’s probably one of the rolls that I think only less than 5% are okay. Why bother posting them in my blog? Someone asked me before, why not choose only the ‘best’ photos to be posted here. The answer is … since I’m doing this as a blog, of course I wanna blog about what really happened … and show what (horrible) shots I really take. 😛
Better stop now. This has somehow become my longest blog entry ever. Duh!
