Must be one of those crazy days when I decided to do lots of things, all in a day itself. Woke up at about 4:30am and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I rang up a buddy of mine (yeah, it’s crazy but he’s an ever ready photograpy maniac) and dragged him out for a short sunrise shoot. Well, we decided to stop somewhere near a beach for something different this morning, and ended up at some location where we got to see not only the sunrise, but also lots of trees and bushes. I was too lazy to send film for developing and scan them later, so digital was the way to go.
A pretty rewarding morning, I’d say (though I didn’t have many keeper shots) because we got to see lots of sunrays peeking thru the trees. I usually see them only on my way to work in the morning and couldn’t jump off my car to photograph them.
After quite a long break from digital photography, forgive me if my Photoshop skills are a bit crazy. 😀 Color madness took over me.
Oh … back to the crazy day story. After the early morning short shoot, I had breakfast and then rushed home to bring Fitzand and his mommy to the market, then back home for a shower. After his nap, we rushed out again to collect some stuffs, then headed to the beach for him to have his weekly dose of big fun. I could feel myself running low on battery at that stage, since I woke up at 4:30am and hardly got time to even rest. To top it all off, we joined some friends from a local Lomography forum for dinner and beer before heading home. Yeah, I’m typing all these with my eyes half closed.
This is my favourite shot of the day …
Tired? Yes. Super tired … but I had fun.
OMG!!

I love picture number 5.
hi there! i just happened to stumbled across ur blog and got to see such wonderful photos! where did u take all these great pics?
Thanks, everyone.
Feon, are you referring to these photos above? They were taken at somewhere at the end of Punggol Rd. It’s somewhere right after the MRT tracks on the way to the beach. Well I was pretty lucky as that morning, it was pretty misty and lighting was great after a while. Unfortunately the sun wasn’t big and round that morning. 🙁 Should you wanna go there, don’t ever forget to bring along mosquito repellant spray … I was hit at least 20 times by those darn mozzies 🙁
Wow, these shots are inspiring to me. Thanks! May I know what sort of lenses you use please? I am so motivated to take some pictures now.
Wilfrid, thank you. I am using the Canon 17-85 kits lens.
I always prefer your digital shots to your random film shots. 😛 Breathtaking. 😀
Cyan, I’m sure my digital ones are still as crappy 🙁
thanks for ur help!! din noe there’s such a wonderful place for great shots, somemore it’s so near my house !
feon, ok … now you can organize a breakfast party there, so we can all shoot and eat and feed the mozzies at the same time 😛
