It’s Friday night and I’m just too tired to go out for my weekly lubricating exercise (beer!), so I sit at home, scanning a roll of expired Neopan 1600 black & white film taken recently. I’m smiling because this is probably the first roll of black & white film that I am satisfied with the results. Oh well of course I have pretty simple and low expectations, so I’m pretty easily satisfied.
Since I hardly can find time (and mood) to go for photoshoot outings, you can see that most of these photos are taken at random either at the market opposite my block or when I’m out having dinner. I can’t be complaining because one of my favourite genre of photography is street shooting and by remembering to lug around a compact camera when I drag my fat butt around allows me to capture candids of people around. Shooting with a fixed 28mm lens is pretty scary at times when I have to go real close and rely on manual focus.
