Finishing 72 frames on a half frame camera ain’t as easy as it seems. Struggled for quite long and finally this test roll on my Olympus Pen EE-2 was done, developed but not that done yet with the scanning work. Before I start cursing about the scanning, let’s just say that I’m pretty happy with the results as it proves that the metering still works great!
I’ve stopped letting the lab scan my half frame shots as their (or maybe only the shop I go to) scanner seems to get ‘confused’ with half frame rolls and most images scanned (auto mode?) were overexposed. The other issue I mentioned before is for each set of frames, there is always one smaller than the other! So this time, painfully I scan them using my flatbed. It’s almost midnight now and I’ve only done 5 … will post the rest later when I’m done with the scanning work …
wor~~~ do us a super 72 frames pano soon? 😀
Yes, zann. Soon. After I figure out how to keep the angles right. Did a 6 frames pano some time ago but the ‘alignment’ was a mess. Grrr!!!
