How often to do you see someone in the market, carrying a 19 month old boy with a couple of bags of groceries and and at the same time … packing a gun camera? I thought that will be pretty fun, so despite knowing bad lighting conditions and of course the crowd, I did just that using a roll of Natura 1600 film on my Klasse W.
As if holding the camera still at that lighting condition (even with fast film) as not challenging enough, at the same time I had my around 12kg boy in my arms too. Walking around and firing shots (of course without flash) wasn’t that hard as I had the groceries and baby as camo, but still I often get stares from people there. I’ve always love going very close when doing street shooting, and this time at the market was no exception. Only difference, I had to pre-set my camera at a specific focusing distance and pray the shots will turn out okay.
Pretty satisfied with the results, although you can see some very handshake and movement in some of them.
Wah! I don’t dare to shoot elderly because they can be very fierce!
Cin, as long as they don’t realise you are shooting … it’s safe 😉 Just don’t bring your beautiful eye-catching cameras for the shoot 😛
