A kind of magic

Almost sold this Rollei Magic II TLR away some time ago after owning it for some time. As it’s the only TLR I own that has a meter built-in, and also a cool ‘auto’ setting mode, I decided to give it a try before reconsidering the sale. Using TLRs has never been my cup of tea as the size of the camera and all that’s involved in taking a single photo always makes me go ‘arggggh!’.

I must admit I almost made a big mistake by letting this camera go. This roll of Optima 100 was loaded into it for a test and look … the auto exposure thingie is pretty good despite the fact that the camera has been around for ages! This is now one camera that will be a permanent resident in my arsenal (unlike those many Chinese TLRs I’ve sold off recently :P)

Some light leaks in a couple of the frames, which I suspect was included when I unloaded the roll out in the sun.
