Sitting in my drawer since it arrived, the Disderi 3 lens cam aka ‘robot cam’ has never been able to go out to play. Took pity on it (yeah, I bought it coz it’s cute and didn’t really bother using it til now), I squeezed it into my bag and along with a roll of Fuji 400 film, I randomly took some snaps on a fine morning.
I must admit that though an old man like me lugging such a cute cam is pretty embarassing, it was indeed fun using it. It did attract some stares from people around (yeah, with their almighty DSLRs and sexy compact digital cams) but I couldn’t be bothered.
If you look carefully, some of the shots has my bloody fat finger in them. Argh! So the next time when I bring it out to play, I better watch how I hold the camera or tape my other fingers to my palm.
hey nice pictures. yea i had the same problem. i keep forgetting about the fingers. hence, covering part of it.
Thank you, Nerissa. Maybe we should all be wearing boxing gloves when using the cam in future 😀
haha yea we shld. The cam is a little too small. lol. omg i’m a girl and i’m saying this. you must be thinking i have huge hands.
hi, i have a question, i’m seriously thinking about buying one of those. But does it take 3 pictures at the same time? or is there a certain interval? or do you have to click 3 times? can’t find it on the internet so…
mrie, there is an interval between each shot. Not sure of the exact interval though. It behaves just like the Lomo Actionsampler/Supersampler.
cool, thanks 🙂
Hi Ndroo, the viewfinder serve no purpose right? Even you aim at the object through the viewfinder, the photo turn out to be not zun right?
@Roy : That’s right. It goes the same for all plastic toy cams … the viewfinder gives you just a rough idea of how the final photo will turn out.
