Oktomat Blues

Like many other multi-lens cameras, the Oktomat loves lots of light. Using this borrowed Oktomat, I loaded in a roll of 27exp Konica 800 film (ripped out from my Konica Wai Wai) and gave it a go. As predicted, many shots turned out underexposed. Duh! I’ve been avoiding the crazy hot sun recently, thus I took the risk and fired some shots indoors and well … I can’t blame the camera for this I guess. Some surviving shots …

Getting 11 ‘acceptable’ photos out of a roll of 27 exposure film ain’t really fun. Many of the frames ‘died’ because they were either shot in a supermarket (yeah stupid me!) or at the playground in the evening. Guess I’ll have to force myself to go out in the sun if I should ever use it again.

Strange but true … I like this photo above despite the crazy grains on it.

So do I like the camera? I’m not sure. I somehow still prefer the Supersampler.
