Ever seen so many Lensbabies before? Here’s a photo of 21 pieces of the Original Lensbaby. Nah … I didn’t go bonkers and bought that many for myself, but it was special mass order I did for some of my friends and perhaps at the same time … help those nice people at Lensbaby clear some old (but damn cool) stocks. I’m damn sure those 21 new owners will be really happy to receive their new toys (at a great price!) soon.
Some people asked me ‘but why the Original Lensbaby?’. The answer is very simple. Those who participated in this mass order are all into cameras like the Lomo LC-A, Holga, Diana and all sorts of ‘crappy’ cameras with less than perfect lenses. So since the Original Lensbaby is equipped with a single optic lens and produces more ‘dreamy’ and funky photos compared to it’s successor (Lensbaby 2.0) which had a double optic … the Original Lensbaby is the ‘perfect’ choice for them. Oh, not forgetting the very very good price I managed to get these lenses for. Paired with some good old film SLR and some punchy expired slides for cross-processing … I can’t wait to see the photos they’re gonna produce.
The Lensbaby ‘poison’ has spread quite a lot recently here in Singapore and I hope with these Original Lensbabies … it will get bigger.

aloysius … I’m not sure. It will depend on the availability and also the demand. I’m pretty tired doing mass orders because of the amount of work involved (and I’m always too busy). Haha.
