My first encounter with a TLR camera was about 2 years ago when I got myself a cheap Lubitel. It was a disaster … my first two rolls from it ended up in the trash bin. I took a risk and bought an old Chinese TLR from the 60s, the Pearl River camera and wasn’t very hopeful that anything decent will come out from it. Oh well … I loaded in an expired roll of slides on it and tested it out today.
I was really happy to see the results! Well some of the shots were screwed because the shutter tensioning lever was stuck because my fat finger was blocking it, but few did survive. Love the slightly Holga-look result and some even looks a bit like painting (maybe?)
