It has been a while since I’ve done the Thirty Six Frames challenge and I’m wondering if anyone will be interested to join me on another exciting (and sometimes stressful) one … this time … still shooting 36 frames but with a different theme/idea. Been toying around with this idea for a while now but I’ve yet to even try doing it myself (before inviting friends to join the fun). So … here is how it goes …
Capturing what we do in 12 hours
We shall pick a specific date and on that day … we will pick a time to start shooting. Let’s say we start at 9am … then we carry on with what we usually do on that day but we must take 3 photos every single hour. So we will take 3 photos from 9am to 9:59am … then another 3 photos from 10am to 10:59am. No specific time … as long as you squeeze out 3 photos during every single hour. Fun? Challenging? So by the time the 12th hour ends … we would have finished a roll of 36 exposure film. Easy?
What do we shoot? Anything related to what you will be doing on that day. For example … in the morning you can take a photo of you brushing your teeth, another photo of you sipping hot yummy coffee and another one perhaps a photo of your pet dog that you were playing with. Show us what you do. Show us what you see. Show us what you were eating.
How about the following date and time?
Date : 27th March 2011
Start : 9am
End : 9pm
As usual … the Thirty Six Frames projects are meant to be fun and thus we hope everyone enjoy shooting, sharing and have fun together. Try not to cheat. 😀 Of course nobody’s gonna know if you actually shot all the photos in an hour but hey … why bother? 😀
Can you use cameras like the Sprocket Rocker or Horizon? You can … but you have to make sure you submit 36 photos and not a few long ones from a roll of 36 exposures. Hahaha! Instant photos are welcomed too.
So how does this sound? Game enough? Anyone … anywhere in the world can join in the fun. It doesn’t matter which time zone you are in … as long as it is the 27th March in your side of the word … it counts.
I sure do hope friends from other countries will join in the fun … to add to the variety of images later when we merge them all. Oh … I’ll post another entry for submission details later. What I plan to do is perhaps after everyone submits their images … I’ll try post like 1 entry every day … for 12 days … and each entry will showcase all the photos taken for a particular hour. Just imagine how fun it will be looking at what we are all doing in different places at different time.

Any film camera … any film … will do fine. 🙂 There ain’t gonna be any prize/contest for this one but if the response is good … who knows I might be able to threaten some sponsors to throw in some prizes for the best set of photos? 😀
