Little digital cameras seem to be invading the earth nowadays. After the highly successful Digital Harinezumi … came the tiny keychain camera FDC01 and of course others like the VistaQuest etc. Most of them take very low resolution videos/photos but this one which I just came across is a little different. This little wonder takes videos at 1280 x 960 30 fps (AVI format) and still photos at a resolution of 2048 x 1536!
The Chobi camera! Here’s a cool intro/review by the famous buy-and-play-every-camera-on-earth Mijonju …
Pretty neat isn’t it? It is available now at Mijonju’s online shop here. I was very tempted for a while after watching the video but decided to KIV this ‘investment’ until more info about the battery performance is available. The FDC01 is already driving me nuts … having to charge it every time before I wanna use it. I hope the Chobi’s battery can hold charge longer … well … at least for a week? The other thing is that the videos/photos from this cutie seem to fall on the ‘normal’ side. So for those who love to spend time editing their videos/photos … it might be fun. For me … I’ll stick to the Harinezumi since I prefer to use the videos/photos straight outta the cam.
thanks for the feature 🙂
