I can hardly drag myself to the toilet for shower after coming back from a full day at Disneyland. Drank way too much coffee to stay ‘in shape’ the whole day and here I am … in front of the computer in the hotel room … trying very hard to clear the photos I took these few days. I do not know how to run a batch job in GIMP and can’t do a batch resize. Glad I ain’t wanna do a thing in post processing for the street photos, so resizing and saving them is pretty easy.
It is pretty strange that I’ve got a couple of messages in a local forum from people who are now planning to get the Olympus E-PL1 after seeing these. Yeah … really! What I originally thought is just something I wanna do for fun this trip … ended up with some people telling me that they like what they see. I just hope they were not viewing these after a night at the pub and getting all drunk. Hahaha! Anyway … I am very happy with this art filter. So far … the other art filters on the cam don’t fancy me at all.
It is just 2 more days here and I’m beginning to feel the 🙁 but I guess I still have to get back to work. 🙁 X 1000000000000!!! Tomorrow is gonna be another fun and long day at Disneyland and I hope time crawls slower tomorrow (sorry to those who are gonna be working tomorrow 😛 )

if you dont need any special processing for your pics, but just batch resizing have u tried picasa?
(maybe you are using it now)

@A10101100 : Thanks. I’ve still got some of these street photos yet to resize and upload. Have not been shooting street stuffs since yesterday. Now just snapshots of my boy and playing with the video capture on my Pentax k-x. I’ve yet to try Picasa. Does it run on Linux? Maybe I’ll go Google it later. So which camera were you poisoned by in the end? 😀

oi…I use picasa on my mac. it runs on linux as well. go check this out: http://www.webupd8.org/2010/04/how-to-install-picasa-36-in-ubuntu.html.. not as comprehensive as PS but serves its function well.
anyway now I understand why Tokyo is the location…..hahaha
