A surprise …

I’ve been pretty happy and excited these couple of days since I received an email from Lomography telling me that my submission for the Lomography X Colette Collaboration contest (click here for more info) made it as one of the 10 entries to be published in the Dianalogues No.1 ‘Through a woman’s lens’ book. Honestly, I ain’t too concerned about getting my photos printed but … as one of the 10 winners … I can get a limited edition Colette Diana F+ camera branded with my own name! Yeah! My name printed on the camera! I told them that I wanted my little boy’s name on it and when it arrives … the cool camera will have ‘FITZAND’ printed on the front! Maybe I can use it as a Xmas present for Fitzand this year. 🙂

I’ll write more about how I ended up with the submission later after the camera and book arrives. It’s really stupid … but I’ll save it for later.

A break …

Joining some friends tomorrow for a short cruise to Penang & Phuket. Well we had other plans but too bad it had to be postponed due to some reasons, so we had to make do with this. I’m pretty excited, looking forward to few days of practically doing nothing but eating, drinking and hanging out with friends and families.

I just received a question from a friend through MSN … ‘Hey! What camera are you gonna bring?’. LOL! I almost fell off my chair hearing that question. Something a lot of friends find it hard to believe … I usually do not bother planning what camera/lenses/film to bring when I go for trips nowdays. I’ll just pick up one or two base on my mood (usually the mood reads ‘LAZY’) and just go. Since the question was popped … it didn’t take me too long to decide bringing along my sexy red MoMA Diana F+ camera and perhaps a digital one for snapshots of my family.

Gotta go get some sleep now … I’m dead tired after a long day of babysitting … zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
