Fishy goes designer

The guys at Lomography has done it again … this time, a limited edition Fisheye2 camera, done in a collaboration with Paul Smith. Pretty neat stripes and an elegant lens cap (yeah, the first time I find a lens cap elegant!). I have a friend who is drooling over it since this morning … maybe she should get her lovely husband to buy it for her as Christmas present this year. It costs US$150 only (the word ‘only’ is used just in case her husband reads this).

Get yours here. No, I ain’t getting one. I’m having enough trouble with all the fancy Diana F+ clones.

  1. I predict the husband in question will just “wisely” keep quiet, aka lie low.

  2. Cyan, you’ll hafta apply witchy’s trick to get it free as an Xmas present (though I am damn sure her stunt will fail badly) 😀

  3. OK … I think I must be one of the most ignorant dudes in your site (sorry!). These cameras look really unique and pretty and I would have thought USD 150 is reasonable for that. I really can’t think of anywhere else I can buy it, personally. And by the way, do these cameras work well? I mean … I always have this perception that cameras cost much more than that these days …

  4. Wilfrid, this special version of the Fisheye2 camera costs almost (or exactly?) double the price of the original one. Guess the designer name jacked up the price but hey … it’s too damn beautiful. Right? Too bad I can’t buy this 🙁 Spent too much on the Dianas already.
