Peekaboo!

It’s been a while since I last ‘dressed up’ a Holga camera and here’s a sneak peek of one I had been working on for a couple of months already. This time, I’m ‘dressing up’ a Holga 135BC instead. I can only manage to find a little bit of time every now and then to work on it, sometimes just a couple of minutes before I have to go entertain my boy or busy with every other thing in life.

Anyway … a little ‘accident’ did happen when I just started work on this. As I wanted the glue to dry faster, I usually use the hair dryer for that purpose. This time … seconds after turning on the hair dryer … that darn thing made some whirling sound … whirllll … whirllerrrrr … and poof! Damn! Suddenly POOF! and there was smoke! Not that much though but I had to quickly switch it off and leave it on the table, hoping it won’t catch fire. Yeah, I didn’t die! I’ll write a little bit more about the process (and pain) on doing this design when it’s completed.

So the work stopped for a week or two, until I remembered to buy a new hair dryer. I’ll find more time to complete it before taking more photos of it. I’m doing this for a friend who changed my life … a friend who probably turned my life upside down but I ain’t complaining. LOL! Don’t ask for details … I’m not telling!
