Another weekend came and is almost gone. Spent some time this weekend planning and doing some test shots for my personal photo project and of course most of the time went into quality time with my family. I didn’t shoot much this weekend (except for the test shots) but next weekend will probably see some action put into my photo project.
Brought Fitzand to the park nearby for breakfast, followed by a cycling session (with me running after him!) before heading home before noon. My brother from Malaysia (in Kuala Lumpur) was visiting us around noon as he was nearby in Johor Bahru but unfortunately he didn’t bring wife and daughter along. Fitzand misses his cousin sister and I was sure he was a little disappointed.
Picked up my brother and his buddy around noon and we had some beer and lunch before dropping by my place to rest … before heading down to another drinking session. Duh! Alkies! I’ve not been drinking much for a while already .. and having to gulp down beer that early (and that much) was a little scary.
Anyway … I managed to take a few photos of Fitzand clowning with my brother before we left home. It was easier photographing Fitzand when he has someone (apart from his parents!) to pose with him.
Now see the difference when he has to pose with his mommy …. 😀
It’s about one more month before Fitzand gets to meet his cousin sister, Zaydeen … and that’s during the Chinese New Year. He handed 2 packs of gummy bear candies to my brother and told him to bring it back for ‘mei mei’ (sister). Just hope my brother doesn’t drop them on the way home.
I guess I’ve been taking way too many photos of Fitzand since he was born. Today at the park … I whipped out my camera and started taking a few shots … he wanted me to stop taking photos and start playing with him again. At first he said ‘Daddy … stop. Keep the camera!’. I ignored him. That’s when karma struck. I’ll always go ‘Fitzand … toys away!’ when I wanna get him to keep his toys after playing. This morning … he told me … ‘Daddy … camera away!’. LOL! Oh my. I almost fainted.
That’s about all for now. I know I’ve been slacking when it comes to shooting with film cameras. Hahaha! I’ll be back real soon after a short break.
lol
