… well at least to me. I love these!

This is my accidental ‘collaboration’ with baby Fitzand.

Not long ago, I loaded a roll of Provia into my Flexaret VII with the 35mm adapter installed. Trying to be clever, and wanting to expose the sprockets too, I removed the 35mm film mask and went out for a shoot and realised I couldn’t advance the film after 12 shots. Panic kicked in and four letter words were generously used for the next 5 minutes.

It was because the mask is suppose to press down a ‘switch’ that tells the camera that it’s using a 35mm and not a 12 exposure 120 film! So I had no choice but to rewind the roll and loaded it into a cheap $40 point n shoot camera and recently gave it to Fitzand to play with without realising the camera was swtiched on. He happily fired the entire roll, and the first few frames were accidentally double exposed. Got the roll cross-processed despite knowing that most shots probably will be trashed.

Since I couldn’t figure out which frame goes where, I scanned them as a strip and somehow, I ended up liking these a lot. Maybe I’ll go get em printed in a larger pano format soon.
