Fitzand is a fan of Bob The Builder and has been telling me that he wants a toy of that blue colored crane (is that what you call it?). A couple of attempts to find it in Toys’R’Us failed and one of the toy shops had only Scoop (the yellow one) and Muck (the orange cement mixer). Finally I found this set of 6 on the local eBay and spent about 1.5 hours driving to collect it from a seller staying at the other end of Singapore. Of course Fitzand was delighted to see these but I had problem answering him when he asked me the names of each of them. I know Scoop and Muck … but I can’t remember the rest. Hahaha. Time to do some homework tomorrow. He has figurines of Bob & Wendy but I forgot to add them in this photo.
I remember a couple of months ago, I bought Fitzand some yummies (chocolate!) during lunch and of course some other yummies for myself … and a colleague joked that every time Fitzand get yummies … his daddy will also definitely get some for himself.
Today … it is the same. But not yummies. Hahaha! I got myself a new toy too! Well I didn’t really buy it today but it arrived through the post today. Yipeee! It is the 25th anniversary edition of the Lomo LC-A+ camera. As I had US$100 credit in their store, I did some math and decided that I should (*rolleyes*) buy it.
Beautiful … ain’t it? I showed it to my colleague and within minutes … he decided to get one for himself and also one for his wife. Lomography … do I get some commission for this? Hahaha. I might not be be using this one at the moment since I have a normal LC-A+ with Russian lens already. Maybe I’ll keep this for Fitzand. 😀
I have a short video clip that I took of Fitzand just now but my darn slow internet connection might take til tomorrow to finish uploading to YouTube. I’ll blog about it tomorrow then. Time to go get some sleep.

he probably guessed tht a love for photography is in the blood as well.
lol. be a sweet dad and keep it for your son. so tht he can take pictures of you!! 😛
your math calculation damn good. now i also need to go calculate up some math to add this lca into this month’s budget.
It’s so lucky to be Fitzand!
@ymmij : Buy! You know you want one … or maybe two. Right?
@solace : I accumulated them from some contest wins. Finally decided to burn them all piggies for this cam. You lucky devil to inherit a F4! I’ll definitely keep this LCA for Fitzand … as a matter of fact … he’ll get all the cameras I own. Just hope he won’t be asking why I am keeping all these plastic lousy cameras for him instead of some Canon L lenses. Hahaha!
@sumlom : Yeah … do your math. I’m sure it will all add up to … B.U.Y!
Mr Ndroo.. Adopt me as your son leh!! pls pls.. hahaha..
Gosh, I just want a regular LC-A+ but can’t justify spending so much money on that camera when the Black Slim Devil works so well for me. But good for you and yay for your son getting a camera. My dad recently gave me his 1978 Canon AE-1. He bought it brand new then and has kept up on the maintenance. It is pretty neat getting gifts like that from fathers!
@edwin : Adoption is possible. Fees payable (to me) is about 5 grands a month. I’ll send you an application form soon. 😛
@tylercorc : Hahaha. A Black Slim Devil? That’s the Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim in disguise right? That’s a totally different devil (pun not intended) from the LC-A cameras. 😛
ARGH! crazy!!!! but it’s a real beauty ain it.
ROFL!!
