My long awaited Dreamer camera has arrived! Well it’s nothing to wow about, as it is exactly the same camera as the Diana F+ camera but how often do you see such a delicious pretty camera being released these days?
Oh, I’d also like to take the opportunity to ‘flaunt’ a recent purchase of a ‘baby’ tripod that I can fit into my small bag and lug it anywhere for some long exposure shots. One thing though, it is so short that even when extended, I’ll probably have to be on all fours to be able to look through the viewfinder (no, I’m not tall but the tripod’s short … just look at the roll of film for comparison of height).
Of course not forgetting this cool book that arrived this morning, titled ‘The Lomo Book’ from Japan. Bought this for just a couple of dollars after deducting ‘piggies’ (discount $) obtained from my pre-order of the Hong Meow camera. 😉
Armed with their LC-A and LC-A+ cameras, a hundred and forty-eight Japanese Lomographers captured their memorable days and compiled them into The Lomo Book – the very first official photo book dedicated to the LC-A, c/o the Lomography Japan. The photo book is chock-full of colorful captures split into four seasons – Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. It also features interviews, tips, shop guide, and other Lomography goodies served fresh from Japan!
Super cool photos in it but … one problem though … I can’t read Japanese!
… and oh, also loaded a roll of film on this Porst Happy that I’ve yet to use 😛 Stay tuned for the results 😉
