I’ve always love to see kids’ drawings that are full of innocence and often wild funny results. Just the other day when we were having dinner, the lady at the restaurant gave Fitzand some crayons to draw on those large white paper on the table and he did have big fun drawing and scribbling all over it. Despite the fact that he can’t really draw properly yet, you can see roughly that he is ‘getting there’ … hahaha … or can’t you?

Sorry for the lousy photos because my compact cam goes nuts in that kind of lighting and white balance was a mess.

Concentrating …

I asked him what he was drawing and he did tell me what a few of them were …

See the lion? He said he was drawing a lion and pointed at the messy part and told me ‘Mane!”

This got me laughing my ass off! Lizard!

A little bit more practice to draw a perfect circle!

There were a couple of other items he drew but I somehow forgot what they were. Blame the beer!

Things started to get too abstract. Hehehe. Oh … the green lion and apple was drawn by …. errmmm … me 😛 He gets too demanding sometimes when I offer to ‘help’ him draw. He’ll say “Draw Alex!”, “Draw Marty!”, “Draw King Julian!” … yeah those animal characters from Madagascar. What he doesn’t know is if daddy is that good at drawing those … he’ll not be working in this dead end job pounding keyboards.

The aftermath

Halfway thru dinner, he asked for my camera and I asked him why. His reply made me laugh … ‘I want to take photo of “mum mum”‘. Btw … “mum mum” is his lingo for “food”. Hahaha. Then the funniest part was when I passed him the camera and switched it on, he held the camera and pointed pretty close at each and every dish … trying to take photo of the dishes as if he knows what he was doing! Well some of the shots did turn out find but some just didn’t because autofocus refused to work (too near?).

The autofocus worked on this and maybe flash fired … thus the sharper photo.
