After a pretty disappointing dinner last night (beer was great though), I made up for it with a hot bowl of ramen and some sushi (I only take sushi without seafood!) for breakfast. Last night’s dinner at Liquid Kitchen was pretty yucky … a dry and tough roasted spring (maybe they were referring to metal springs?) chicken and what killed my mood was my goddamn maid again. As usual she’ll sit there looking like an imbecile and not looking after Fitzand much when he was eating. He got frustrated and kicked up a fuss after dropping his food a few times. He got a spanking from me and the stupid maid got chased out of the pub immediately. I took over the task of taking after Fitzand while she waited outside like a cur. If only my wife agree to get her replaced. Duh!
Enough of the angsty shit. Back to today morning … after breakfast I bought a little backpack and marshmallow for Fitzand and you can see him flaunting them here …
I spent my afternoon shooting some double exposures with some ‘stars’. I planned two rolls of them but managed to finish only one. I’ll try finish the other before sending them to the lab. ‘Stars?’ you may ask. Hahaha. Just stay tuned and hope they turn out fine … then you’ll find out what it’s all about.
After dinner (satay & beer!), I suddenly decided to ‘make’ this fun lens for my E-P1. It’s a Diana F+ lens mounted on the E-P1 with the help of a Canon lens cap and my EOS-M43 adapter. I was too tired to do more test shots but here are couple of them …
Seems to work pretty okay. I’ll do more test shots tomorrow … maybe play around with the art filters too! I’m pretty happy with what I see (from these 3 test shots) and hopefully the Diana lens can sit side by side with my pancake lens when I go out shooting next time.
