A pretty crazy day of happy moments and moments of pure anger. Started the day really great by bringing Fitzand alone to the Esplanade and then visiting the Merlion before breakfast at The Coffee Bean. It’s not his first visit to the Merlion but since he told me he wants to go see it again … I don’t see why not. Weather was crazy. It got really hot at around 10am but when we finished breakfast about half an hour later … the sky looked like it was ready to pour. I had to carry Fitzand and run all the way from the Merlion to my car which was parked pretty far away.
We went shopping for toys at Toys ‘R’ Us and I got him a Bob The Builder toy set. As usual … he’ll ask for a ball when he sees the tons of balls at the store and this time I decided to get him one. Oh .. he probably has like half a million balls at home by now.
These photos above were taken about an hour ago after coming back from a steamboat dinner with some friends. It was during the dinner that kinda spoiled my day. No … not yucky food … but my darn imbecile maid. I always lose my cool when I see her taking care of Fitzand. Whenever we go out for meals, she will sit him and then look oh-so-stupid. Then when food is served and she helps (helps?) him while he eats … she will always frustrate him and he ends up either making a mess or starts screaming. I might not be complaining if I can’t handle such situation myself but I’ve always been able to keep him pretty organized during meals and he’ll eat happily. Even back at home, I will always see/hear chaos when the retard is feeding/helping him with his meals. Every time I will have to ‘take over’ the job and then everything will be fine and he’ll happily enjoy his meals.
His mommy is always complaining that I am bitching too much about it all but I don’t give a damn about it because she is always leaving most of these stuffs to the darn maid. If you have read my earlier blog entries, you might realise I’ve stopped referring her as a ‘domestic helper’ … what the bloody hell is a ‘domestic helper’ if all she does is help me lose my cool? Duh!!!! Grrrr!!! I’d have sent her packing if not because my wife still says she wants the maid to stay. Duh!!!!
Btw, please don’t tell me that I should not expect too much and all that rubbish that if she is smart … she wouldn’t have to be a maid. I ain’t expecting too much. I can’t stand paying someone, providing lodging and food … and get this kind of lousy work done.
The other thing that made my day was that I found these 2 CDs that I had been hunting for. They are a set of CDs by the Finnish rock group HIM. I remember falling in love with their works after listening to the song ‘Gone With The Sin’ quite some time ago. I’m ripping them tracks and feeding my iPod for some late night listening and hopefully wake up feeling okay. Maybe I’ll bring Fitzand to a bowling session with some friends … but ermm … I kinda forgot about the invite … was it suppose to be today or tomorrow? Duh!!! Okay … maybe I’ll hit the beach then.
Here’s a description on the albums taken from Amazon.com …
Uneasy Listening Vol. 2 is the companion album to Uneasy Listening Vol. 1. Both albums are collections of previously unreleased versions of the band’s classic tracks. Uneasy Listening Vol. 2 features rarities and hard-to-find versions of some of HIM’s biggest hits. This special album includes demos, remixes, live and alternate studio recordings of the band’s heavier repertoire. Much of this material has never before been released and is highlighted by the highly sought after version of “Buried Alive By Love” featured in Bam Margera’s CKY4 DVD.
Whereas Uneasy Listening Vol. 1 featured the sentimental side of HIM, Vol. 2 focuses on the band’s harder side and all versions have been selected by the band’s singer Ville Valo. He explains, “Most of these versions are hard to find nowadays. Fans have frequently been asking us where to find these songs. The songs are also important to the band. They are songs that have allowed us to express our musical perversions.”
Valo summarizes the two-volume set: “Vol. 1 is music for Sunday mornings whereas Vol. 2 is for Saturday nights.”
time to get a replacement. sending me e pics soon? waffles on me next time
Oh, I was used to love HIM music. Then I realize that they are a pretty Satanic band. So I … erm … haven’t listened to them for a while. Good music though, I must say.
@Alice … pizza on me 😀
@Wilfrid : Well it’s all just good music to me. Satanic or not … it doesn’t really matter to me at all. Haha. I used to listen to stuffs like Morbid Angel when I was young … and I am still a pretty normal person. Hehe. Opps. I’ve yet to chop off the hands of my maid yet. Muwahahhaa!
Hey, cool it. *Patpat* Mine is no better! Will share with you over msn and we can laugh over it, k? Btw, very interesting cd cover design.
@cyanwater : Well I’m okay now. Can’t get so pissed so often I guess. I guess most of them give headaches to us. Duh! As for the CD covers … yeah … they are very beautiful. I love the heartagram on them too. Maybe I should get one tattooed on my butt.
