Those guys from Superheadz who first brought us the cool Blackbird, Fly camera is back again with a tempting toy. A Digital Harinezumi. Hmm. A first look at the camera design somehow didn’t spark off any interest (or temptation) in me. I’d pick the Rollei Minidigi or the Minox DCC M3 Plus for their cooler looking design but …
What got me started to be interested is the video function that it has. Although it has no sound recording capability … the results are pretty neat! I’ve some ideas to make a ‘short movie’ and this might be the perfect tool for it!!! (Excuses! Excuses!)
Here’s a recent video by Nic from FourCornersDark that makes me wonder if I should rob a bank to buy this baby.

The Digital Harinezumi records on a Micro SD card and the little LCD is not used when taking photos. You will need to use the flip up ‘viewfinder’ like you’d find in those good old tiny 110 film cameras! Neat! This is like a ‘analogue digital’ camera eh?
Check out Patrick Ng’s gallery here for more temptation.
its arrived @ 8storeytree! Ordered mine already yay~! 😀
@Zig Ziggler : Oh yeah … I heard about it’s arrival. 😀 You lucky devil! Don’t forgot to share some photos & videos when you get yours. I’ll have to forget about this toy now that I’ve burned my bucks on the E-P1. 🙁
