Instant fun in my hometown

Ever since they announced the death of Polaroid film (production stopping soon), I gave up on my Polaroid camera and switched to Fujifilm’s Instax 200. Oh well, sad to admit that I still prefer Polaroid films’ colors and output better than the Instax ones but … life has to go on. Loaded a pack of film when I went back to Malaysia to visit my folks and fired away happily and forgot that I didn’t have any spare with me. The next day, the camera was starving … and I was crying. I was relying on photography to kill time in my boring and slow hometown.

  1. Thanks, Durkin. These were the first test shots and probably the last. 😀 I am now in the process of hacking it to use some other lens with a variable speed shutter, probably a diana or holga one. Good news is I’ve managed to rip out the lens components without damaging the motor. Ran out of film while trying to fix the lens at an appropriate distance from the film … guess I’ll try tomorrow or the following weekend. Pray for me 🙂
