Kiddo Art

Just the other day, Fitzand came home from childcare with a plastic file containing some of the ‘art’ they did in class. I decided to photograph each and every one of them and keep a ‘collection’ of these funny and cute work in my blog here. Here’s one he did (of course with the help of his teachers) for Mothers’ Day.

It’s Mothers’ Day today … so here’s wishing all the wonderful mothers in the world a very Happy Mothers’ Day. Thank you for everything.

The rest of Fitzand’s ‘artwork’ …

Fire!

I assume this is titled ‘clouds’

G is for grass! Hehehe …

the flipside of the ‘grass’

Fitzand calls this ‘puppy dog’

… and he says this one is ‘Dippy Duck’

This one is my favourite out of this lot. Haha. Planet earth?

I do have something similar to this one above in my office. Those coffee cup stains on those sheets of A4 paper on my desk!

I’ve always loved looking at kids’ drawings. They are always filled with unpredictable results, colorful and messy … just the way I like photography. Haha. I’m hoping they won’t introduce Lomography classes in the childcare yet … else I’ll probably find my cameras and film slowly missing from my room.

Had a beer cum dinner session at Red Dot Brewery with some friends last night and my ‘supplier’ passed me my latest toy purchase … the yellow Blackbird Fly. Cute ain’t it?

Spent about an hour yesterday helping a talented friend to photograph her second entry for the Annual Floral Art submission. Sorry … no photos of the design again until the submission is over. Anyway, she needed a couple of portrait shots to include in the submission and we decided to take a couple of snapshots for that purpose. Here’s one of them …

She might kill me if she sees this. Hahaha. Anyway, we had fun despite being ‘trapped’ in a very small space to finish the work.

It’s now the 2nd half of another Sunday and Monday blues is slowly creeping in. I’m trying to finish a roll of film in a Lomo Oktomat that I borrowed from a friend. I’ve always wondered if I will like the camera, so this is a great opportunity to find out. Probably drop by the lab tomorrow with another roll from my Lubitel.
