The LC-A/LC-A+ camera is one great camera (toy?) but I guess the Russians were pretty conservative with their design and it looks pretty boring. Lomography Society International added a slight ‘makeover’ to it by adding the Lomo boy on the viewfinder cover but I guess that doesn’t do (too) much to make it look any cooler. So I decided to get a pre-cut ‘skin’ to ‘dress it up’ and now it’s looking like my grandmother’s handbag. Oh wait … was her handbag any cool? Nevermind.
that looks really nice! Is it just a skin glued over the top of the plastic? I really want to do something like this to my holga soon 🙂
Durkin, thanks. The skin is actually pre-cut for the LC-A+. You can check out ebay, there are some people/stores who sell pre-cut self-adhesive coverings for some cameras.
ahh cool! thanks for the information, i will be sure to check it out soon. It looks so nice 🙂
